45 models of smartphones have built-in virus

Experts antivirus laboratories do not only scan for viruses on the world wide web, but also identify them on mobile and stationary devices. And sometimes what they find may not a little stir. For example, recently employees of the Russian antivirus company “Doctor Web” has discovered a malicious software that is natively integrated into the 45 models on the smartphone market.

A detailed investigation allowed to find the viruses on Android phones. These include a lineup of brands such as Leagoo, the smartphone Zopo Speed 7 Plus, UHANS A101, Doogee, Umi London, Tesla SP6.2, Haier T51, Cherry Mobile Flare some others. All these models are produced in China, and though not have a large user base in Russia and countries of Europe, extremely popular in the Asian region. As stated by the General Director of company “Doctor Web” Boris Sharov in an interview with RIA “Novosti”,

“Users have reported that their phone our antivirus found malicious software. After the analysis we realized that it is in the system area, where no virus can’t get outside, but can be laid only at the production stage”.

The specialists of the antivirus laboratory also traced the network of servers on which the virus was sending the data. Through holes in the security system a built-in virus capable without participation of the user to spool to the device any malware from keyloggers to spyware that steal personal data and credit card data.
