Safari is a great tool for productive work in macOS. Thanks to the speed and ease of use it enjoys great popularity among users. But the use of the browser can be done even easier with a simple trick that will allow you to display icons of websites.
Unfortunately, Apple has not provided such an opportunity, so we resort to using programs from third-party vendor. The app itself is called Faviconographer. Let’s start:
- Download the utility here, move to the Applications folder and run the program.
- Open “System preferences”
- Go to the “Protection and privacy”. Select the menu item “Privacy”.
- Our program requests a managing computer in the “Universal access”. Allow.
Now when you run the tabs will display an icon of the web page. It will look like this:
The developer notes that while the work may appear small graphical shortcomings. But as practice shows, they are quite small, and this solution definitely can recommend to install.
