About two years ago, Google added Android Auto wireless connectivity. However, only Pixel smartphones and some Samsung models could boast such an option.
Now, on the Google support page , information has appeared that any smartphone with Android 11 will support Android Auto wireless connection.
But there is one requirement – the device must be able to connect to 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks. However, given that most modern smartphones are equipped with a dual-band Wi-Fi module (except perhaps for some budget models), there should be no problems with this. Well, do not forget that in some countries the Android Auto system is not available, so nuances may also arise with this.
