Earlier this month, data from research firm NPD, suggests that Apple is dominant in the industry of smart watches. Now, a new report from Strategy Analytics more details about the sales of the Apple Watch, and how they compare to the rest of the market.
According to the data, shipped Apple 9.2 billion hours during the fourth quarter of 2018. Which represents a rise of 7.8 million units in the fourth quarter of 2017. Overall, statistics indicate that Apple shipped 22.5 million units by 2018. For comparison, this figure rose from 17.7 million in 2017. In total, the shipment of 45 million smart watch in the year 2018, bringing the Apple to represent half.
