Apparently, almost every major Studio that develops online shooters, do not allow to live the success of Fortnite and PUBG. That is why we see so many absurd parodies and “artificially bolted” modes battle Royal in modern games. Some are downright disastrous, but a small portion still survives among the players. And that’s just the legendary CS:GO, played for almost everyone, and also acquired such a regime that not everyone liked.
But until the full backup is not reached. Battle Royale was called “the Forbidden zone” and it is designed for 16-18 people that can play both in teams and solo. The essence of the regime is simple – to survive.
Rather impressive, by the standards of CS:GO, the map, scattered the usual chests with loot (money and other useful things). But thanks to the constant speed of the battles, the match in this battle lasts no more than 10 minutes.
I confess that I am very far from CS:GO and are not the active player. So the following may sound crazy: personally, I visually “Forbidden zone” reminded… Left4Dead. Some landscapes are very similar to the familiar card with this zombie shooter. Plus the picture is stuck somewhere in 2008, and after the game in a colorful Fortnite, CS:GO “Forbidden zone” looks kind of grey and old.
The mechanics of battle has not changed: we have the same good old CS:GO with a cool fire, but many “old-timers” such changes were not to your liking, and on the page of the game appeared a lot of negative reviews. However, thanks to the second big change (the game became free), I felt a tremendous increase in the number of new users. So such innovations are likely going to play good.
And to appease those who already bought the game, the developers will give a commemorative medal for loyalty to Prime status and gift MP5-SD. In addition, in gift box “exclusion zone” will provide access to the knives “Horizon” and 17 weapon skins.
Here are the changes happened in CS:GO. If you have already managed to play in the new regime, then be sure to share your opinion in the comments!
