In the first quarter of 2018, worldwide shipments of Chinese smartphones has fallen to the level of five years ago, estimated by analysts company Canalys. In the report, Canalys noted that quarterly shipments of smartphones from China as of 2018 barely reach 100 million copies. Last time such low rates, the market researchers noted in the first quarter of 2013.
