The Federal Antimonopoly service of Russia has appointed the Russian “daughter” Samsung fined in the amount of 2.5 million rubles, said on the Agency’s website. The reason for this was to coordinate the prices of smartphones and tablets, which the company has worked with retailers.
As Samsung save on the penalty
A fine of 2.5 million rubles, which Samsung will have to pay in favor of the state, it could be more, because in such cases the amount of penalty can reach 5 million. However, due to the fact that the company promoted the investigation, FAS has decided to reduce the fine.

However, the penalty was imposed not only to Samsung itself, but also its individual employees, who were in charge of coordination, forcing sellers to maintain uniform prices for their products. They were attracted to administrative responsibility and has appointed to each of these individual fines.
Where Samsung was coordinated by prices

Proceedings against Samsung is not the first antitrust case that the FAS gets in relation to electronics manufacturers.
