This week Google has released a public letter in which he admitted intentionally added to the Chrome incognito tracking mechanism users. So the search giant wanted to protect the rights of Internet publications. The fact that some of them provide readers free access to only a fixed number of materials, demanding payment of all subsequent reading. However, users have learned to circumvent paywall, just going into incognito mode, in which the website does not understand that they have already exhausted their limit. To exclude such cases, Google decided to deal with unscrupulous readers and oblige them to apply for a paid subscription.

Unfortunately, this experiment failed, Google recognizes as endangered all users without exception. For this reason the company decided to forcefully disable the tracking mechanism, applying changes on their servers. And to avoid future unauthorized use of the tracking tools embedded in incognito mode, Google will release an update which will be released July 30.
