Google will remain the default search engine in Firefox until 2023

Renewed both Mozilla and Google partnership agreement between them to keep the Google search engine by default in Firefox browser in for New up to year 2023 at least.

While it did not disclose the value of the transaction, however, it is estimated that Google will pay between 400-450 million dollars a year.

The current agreement between the two companies to keep the search engine by default on Firefox would be completed by the end of the year.

This extension is available especially by Mozilla which was affected by its strongly due to MERS-CoV what pushed her to lay off a quarter of its employment is 250 employees at the beginning of the year laid off 70 employees, so is the need for any additional funding to help it survive.
