Here’s how to enable and use the picture-in-picture in the Safari browser on a Mac
Whether you have a website that has a video clip in a special window or tab, you can enable the feature in the Safari browser in the same way.
During video playback, either right-click or click right-click the Control and click on the icon of the small images and select Enter Picture in Picture. This is the same button you will use to mute the sound.
If there are no other tabs open, you’ll see the sound icon in the address bar.
If you have a site open in a tab, you’ll see the icon of the volume to the right of the tab.
Once you enable the feature Picture in Picture in Safari, you’ll see the video shrink and moves to one corner of your screen.
From there, you can click the window and drag it to any other corner or resize it by dragging one of the edges. You also have the play / pause button.
- Stop the video and return it to the website, click the X in the upper-left corner.
- To continue running the video and return it to the website, click the button of “Picture in Picture” in the video frame.
