How to find the serial number of the computer your Mac
Option of About This Mac
- In the upper left corner, go to the Apple logo then About This Mac
- Find serial number on top of the button Report System Report
At the bottom of the computer to your Mac
MacBook: find serial number at the bottom of your computer, often near the hinges in many versions.
iMac: you can find the serial number at the bottom of the case.
Mac mini: you should be able to locate the serial number on the bottom of the Mac mini on the side closest to the ports.
Mac Pro: in versions 2013 and newer, you will see the serial number at the bottom of the machine, in older versions, check the back of the device.
