Huawei announced the release of smartphone Mate Xs

An improved version of a bendable smartphone Mate X officially presented.

The first bendable smartphone Huawei, model Mate X, was presented last year at the MWC 2019. It was expected that the second generation of the device will be presented at MWC 2020, however, due to the fact that the exhibition was canceled, Huawei held an online presentation of the news.

The devices look almost identical. Mate the Xs retained the form factor of its predecessor: folded you have a regular smartphone with 6.6″ display, in the spread — 8″ tablet. Huawei notes that the screen Mate Xs is better protected (there is a special two-layer film), and also added a spacer, which strengthens the hinge mechanism. The rest — all the same what we saw a year ago, with slightly updated hardware and no Google services.

For the performance Mate Xs meets the Kirin 990 chipset that contains a modem Balong 5000, support 5G. 8″ OLED screen has a resolution of 2480х2200 points. RAM available 8 GB internal — 512 GB. Battery capacity is 4500 mAh, supported 55 W charging. The camera consists of four modules: 40 MP (f/1.8) + 8 MP (telephoto, f/2.4) + 16 MP (ultra-wide angle, f/2.2) + 3D sensor depth. Powered smartphone running Android 10 and proprietary shell EMUI 10.

Huawei Mate Xs will go on sale in global markets, including known, that it will be available in Ukraine. The cost is €2499.
