At yesterday’s event in Paris, in addition to smartphones P20 and P20 Pro, Huawei has introduced another premium model – Porsche Design Huawei Mate RS.
This is already not the first smartphone , the company developed in collaboration with Porsche Design. The novelty has received the Porsche Design logo and special design theme.
Mate the RS is equipped with a 6-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2880х1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. And, unlike P20 and P20 Pro, developers do not have to push the bangs to the top of the display. Inside the smartphone is equipped with Kirin chipset 970, 6 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of internal memory.
The novelty has received the same triple camera as P20 Pro, consisting of 40+8+20 MP modules. Another feature of the smartphone is the presence of two fingerprint scanners – one located on the rear side of the device, the second embedded under the display. There is support for wireless charging. Battery capacity is 4000 mAh.
The cost of the “Junior” version of the Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design (6/256 GB) is 1695 Euro. Configuration with 512GB of internal memory will cost 2095 euros.
There is a rhetorical question: can Huawei to make a good design, which openly copies the pieces of your competitors, so why not implement it in a P20/P20 Pro? And so we get the “usual” flagship triple cool camera, but bangs that it is not clear why there is need (given the fingerprint scanner below the screen) and premium smartphone with a unique design and interesting solutions, the cost of which can be bought and P20 Pro and iPhone X to surrender.
