2018 was a good year for Huawei, at least in the beginning when the company was expecting to launch its smart phones in the United States of America in cooperation with telecommunications companies. However, this did not happen in the end because of the charges the US government for spying for the Chinese government prompting the U.S. government at a time subsequent to issuance of the decision to remove the telecommunications equipment subsidiary of Huawei infrastructure in the country.
However, despite the difficulties faced by Huawei in the United States of America, the company has managed to continue growth so that they announced just last week that they will be able to charge 200 million smartphone by the end of this month. And, apparently, those expectations were accurate because according to IDC, specializing in market research, has made it clear in the latest report about the smartphone market that the company Huawei has already managed the shipment of 200 million smartphone this year.
Statistics issued by the Corporation IDC also show that Samsung is still the equal of the smartphone market with a market share of 20 percent, followed by Huawei in second place with a market share of 14 percent, whereas Apple ranked third, and Xiaomi ranked fourth, and the Oppo ranked fifth.
It is still unclear how will the impact of these accusations against Huawei and decisions issued by several governments to remove the communication equipment your company built its infrastructure on the performance of the company in the future, so we’ll have to wait until 2019 to get a better idea.
