Kirin OS — an analogue of Android from Huawei?

Breakthrough development, the release of which is preparing Huawei, may be the proprietary operating system of the company. This writes GizChina with reference to the image, indirectly confirming the imminent presentation of the new mobile platform from Huawei.

Operating system, which Huawei is expected to introduce in June, will be called Kirin OS — in honor of processors, the underlying brand smartphone manufacturer. It is believed that the software platform in question, will be based on Linux and the development will fully replace Android.

The need to launch its own operating system in Huawei felt long before rumors about a possible expulsion from the United States market and the imposition of sanctions, prohibiting the company’s use of the Android OS. Despite this, the representatives of the brand deliberately misinformed the public, saying that it is not ready to release branded mobile platform.

Previously, Huawei announcedthat they plan to submit a “scary breakthrough” technology that will forever change the smartphone market. According to insider information, the latest development has a software nature and provides compatible devices with increased productivity.
