Lenovo on its own event in Kiev presented the new generation of ThinkPad laptops.
The stands were all updated line of ThinkPad. The top model is the ThinkPad X1 Carbon (G6). The laptop got slightly redesigned, fresh iron, HDR display with WQHD resolution and support for new mechanical docking station.
Notebook-transformer Yoga X1 features a new brighter display, supports dock and a stylus, and the battery life is 15 hours.
ThinkPad T480s – the best selling model among all the ThinkPad due to the excellent balance of price/features. The model is sold at a more affordable price than the X1 Carbon, but it is equipped with powerful hardware and all the necessary interfaces (fingerprint scanner, NFC, USB Type-C/Thunderbolt and others).
Model ThinkPad T480 made in a slightly thicker body than T480s, but similar to the older model. Inside can be installed with the Intel down to a series of HQ and NVIDIA ® GeForce ® MX150. Model ThinkPad T580 same T480, but equipped with 15-inch screen.
Lenovo also has updated the more budget range Edge. The ThinkPad E480/E580 got a new design, the acoustics from JBL, a full set of connection interfaces and support for a docking station connected via USB Type-C.
It is worth mentioning laptop V330, which boasts light weight (about 1.5 kg), fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C and other options.
In addition, representatives of Lenovo announced that the ThinkPad will now be used not only Intel, but also AMD Ryzen, as well as what is under the ThinkPad brand will be sold peripherals (mouse, headphones) and desktop PC.
