The first manned flight to the moon Russian astronauts will take place in 2031, reports RIA Novosti news Agency, citing caught at his disposal the document TsNIIMash — Central scientific Institute of the state Corporation “Roscosmos”. After that, such flights are planned annually. During the first expedition crew will be doing “the performance of work by task ran”, explained in the document.
A year later, on Earth satellite is planned to deliver heavy controlled lunar Rover, which astronauts will be able to move on the surface. In the same year 2032 planned second manned expedition, in which the Russian crew will conduct tests of manned lunar Rover.
During the expedition 2033 planned long trips in heavy lunar Rover, as well as testing some robotic systems, the details of which are not reported. In 2034 is scheduled to begin, and in 2035 – to continue construction of the Russian lunar base. The working title of the expeditions – M1, M2, M3, M4 and M5.
Before the manned expedition, 2028 and 2029 years planned to carry out two test launches of the carrier rocket heavy class “Yenisei”, which will be used for missions to the moon. Its design should be completed by November of this year. Most likely the final appearance of the rocket involves the use of six boosters on the basis of engine RD-171МВ and the Central unit with the RD-180 engine.
During the first test launch in 2028 planned test landing of the complex. In 2029, it is planned to conduct a lunar flyby using the layout of manned spacecraft “Federation”.
In the framework of actual manned missions to the moon is planned to carry out dual launches of new super-heavy booster. So, one of the rockets will orbit a manned spacecraft, the second is the transfer to the Earth landing system for landing and subsequent takeoff from the lunar surface and other scientific and technical equipment.

RD-171МВ based on the world’s most powerful liquid engine RD-170, various modifications of which was used in Soviet heavy rocket “Energy” and Russian-Ukrainian rockets family “Zenit”. According to available information, upgrading the engine to use in the rocket “Soyuz-5” will cost about 7 billion rubles. A fully working version of the engine going to deliver in 2021, and the first launch of the rocket “Soyuz-5” on the basis of this engine is scheduled for 2022.
Updated: In conversation with journalists of TASS, the Advisor to the General Director of the Roscosmos science Alexander Bloshenko declared that the program on creation of the rocket “Yenisei” has not yet been approved by the Russian government. Respectively the money for the project, the Ministry of Finance did not allocate, so the question of the road map to lunar exploration is still open.
“There are no approved missions or a specific date first manned flight,” explained Bloshenko.
The scientific adviser added that according to the decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, the first launch of the carrier rocket “Yenisei” to be held in 2028. However, “without an understanding of the volume and pace of funding for the program is impossible to develop the concept of flight and exploration of the moon”. In the end, to the moon is expected to run not only a manned expedition. Before the possibility of implementation of such projects will require the development and launch of landers, satellites-repeaters Rovers for the movement of the Russian expedition crews, robotic spacecraft reconnaissance.
