Study: blue light phones steals blindness

Reported a new study that the blue light emitted from smartphones, computers and other devices can steal the blind.

Researchers from the University of Toledo American that exposure to blue light emitted from smartphones, tablets and televisions can cause damage to the vision, the generation of toxic particles in the cells of the eyes, adding to the acceleration of macular degeneration and other eye diseases.

In the study, the researchers conducted experiments by exposing the living cells to different types of light, and they found that exposure to blue light leads to interactions of the molecules of toxic chemicals in photoreceptors, a cell existing in the retina of the eye responds to light, if we look at the amount of light, especially blue by smart phones and other devices, they are a large amount of not great.

Disease macular degeneration or atrophic macular degeneration occurs due to the deterioration of the light-sensitive cells in the retina, and this disease is linked to and can cause blindness. And there are currently 11 million people in the United States suffer from macular degeneration, according to reports, it is likely to double the number of patients by 2050.
