Jim Belozik owns a small company called ShortStack, which develops software. In his spare time, Jim likes to make something in his garage or pick his car. His latest experiment is called the Teslonda – Honda Accord in 1981, equipped with a Tesla electric drive and a battery from Chevy volt. Yes, the old woman looks about forty years old, but thanks to her "stuffing" she accelerates to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.7 seconds.
"This Honda was bought a long time ago, but I hardly drove it. At some point, I came up with the idea of somehow modernizing it, finalizing it. And I thought it would be cool to put an electric motor there, "the enthusiast tells Elektrek.
Jim was very fond of experimenting with hotrods, subjecting them to various modifications, so turning the old Honda into an electric car was for him some kind of next step. Over time, the enthusiast plans to reduce the acceleration time to 100 kilometers per hour from 2.7 seconds to 2.5 seconds and is going to modify the interior of the car, equipping it with an on-board computer and a display from Tesla, while Jim dissects on his "Honda" regularly looking at the old dashboard.
