Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which Samsung has equipped all the flagship line of Galaxy S10 with the exception of Junior S10e, played with the devices of a cruel joke. As it turned out, embedding a fingerprint module for the screen, the engineers are not bothered to hide it from the user’s eyes, which he now will be an eyesore in the process of operation. This convinced journalists of the German magazine AreaMobile, to get the new items on test before the start of official sales.
In the photos published by AreaMobile shows that through the display matrix can clearly see a rectangular module that is responsible for the identification of the user by his fingerprint. It is absolutely outstanding case, since the device is no producer to date has not distinguished the existence of such a defect. Obviously, the reason for this was ultrasonic rather than optical scanning technology that Samsung has implemented in flagship smartphones.

According to colleagues, the scanner becomes clearly visible, as a rule, only in bright lighting conditions. That is, when using your smartphone in the office where there are fluorescent lights and in direct sunlight poorly hidden under the display hardware component is clearly evident. However, when using the device at home, where mainly used incandescent bulbs, to see the disadvantage will be much harder.
