Apple has officially confirmed that Danielle of Depalma will lead the team Apple TV+ that is responsible for promotion and marketing. Prior to joining the marketing group Apple TV she had a distinguished career in the film industry. Recently she worked as Executive Vice President at Lionsgate, working on marketing campaigns for films such as the series “the Hunger games”.
She was a veteran of Lionsgate, which spent about ten years in the company before leaving in January of this year. So the necessary background for the promotion of Apple TV+ she has.
Earlier this week Apple hired the former head of the company A + E, which will work on documentaries for the Apple TV+. Apple TV+ will be available in autumn in 100 countries (probably the service will appear and in Russia). On pricing will be announced later. To attract to the area more viewers, it made cross-platform, adapting to smart TVs LG, Samsung and Sony consoles as well as Roku and Amazon.
