We are too much attention to smartphones. Is it an addiction?

We live in a time where most valuable resource is time. Today it is difficult to meet someone who has a lot of free time. Even YouTube-bloggers who, at first glance, do not show a lot of effort during work, days and nights working to produce good content. This material is not a discovery, it is only the desire to raise the subject and discuss it with our readers.

This year Google and Apple have implemented convenient features to view statistics of smartphone usage. On iPhone I periodically look in this section to view the “article”.

Another 4-6 months ago, the device I used about 6-8 hours a day. At that time, this figure did not seem strange to me, but now I realize how much time was wasted. People every day spend a few hours to entertain yourself with your smartphone.

Currently I managed to reduce the use of 3-3.5 hours a day. And this figure still does not seem normal.

To reduce the use of smartphone, I had to unsubscribe from almost all people in Twitter. Six months ago, on Twitter I was spending about 3-4 hours a day. It became a kind of addiction. I was able to surf ribbon even if no new tweets.

YouTube the situation is similar. This is the entertainment area, where 90% of the content is pointless wasting our time. A 10% educational videos useful, therefore, to use this service if it is indeed some important information.

In the case of games the situation is even more interesting. If Twitter and YouTube you can find useful information, the games simply do not give, and play in order to relax is a waste of time because during the games the brain, on the contrary, tense. Thus, we spend time on games, while not getting anything in return, but, on the contrary, spending their own resources of an organism to process information.

What is the result?

You should treat the telephone as a means of obtaining useful information and contact with friends. In other cases its use is just pointless wastes time which is so precious today. Plan to reduce the use of the device to 1-2 hours a day. What do you think about this?
