Is receiving unwanted text messages is very common, and unfortunately there’s not much that can be done about it. However, I was able to SPAM level also from the invasion of messaging apps like WhatsApp, we are sure that there are many users who have received spam messages on WhatsApp, but it seems that WhatsApp is trying to do something about it.
According to a new report released recently from the site Mashable, it appears that WhatsApp choose a new feature that allows it to detect links that may seem suspicious to the as such, as you can see in the picture below. Of course, this is just a warning and users can continue to move forward and clicking on the link if they wanted it, but at least they’d been warned.
The WhatsApp several steps in an attempt to reduce the spam or at least take steps to assist in informing its users. For example, I started WhatsApp with reference to the messages that have been redirected to let users know that the message probably did not originate from the sender. It has also begun to limit the number of messages that can be forwarded at once to reduce spam.
Of course, it remains to be seen whether these tools and features is sufficient to reduce the spam policies that are deployed using WhatsApp, but it’s good to see the company working constantly to do something about it.
