The next test build of Windows 10 (Insider Build 17618) pleased users of the new feature Sets.
Sets allows you to combine in a single window multiple apps for specific tasks. The principle of operation is similar to the browser where we are constantly working in multiple tabs.
For example, the user can now open Windows Explorer, connect to it from Microsoft Word, a note from OneNote and the tab of the Microsoft Edge.
At the moment, the operation Sets supported by such apps to Windows 10 as Windows Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Calendar, Mail, news, MSN, Notepad, OneNote, PowerShell.
In addition, Microsoft has added new shortcut keys for more convenient work with tabs:
- Ctrl + Win + Tab – switch to next tab
- Ctrl + Win + Shift + Tab – switch to previous tab
- Ctrl + Win + T to open a new tab
- Ctrl + Win + W – close current tab
