Xiaomi company held a presentation in India, which showed three new Mi TV, the Mi camera Home Security Camera 360 degrees, air purifier Mi Air Purifier 2S, fitness bracelet Mi Band 3 and two models Mi Luggage.
Let’s start with the TVs. Xiaomi has partnered with Google to add voice search to their new Mi TV. The TVs will ship with an updated remote control that is equipped with Bluetooth and button activated voice search. With the remote you can control not only the Mi TV and other smart devices that support Google Assistant.
In addition, the new Mi TV got the label “Built with Android TV”. This means that the updated OS PatchWall, which are TVs based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Android TV includes Google TV, official support for the YouTube app and built-in Chromecast and Google Play Store.
All three new Mi TV equipped with a 64-bit Quad-core SoC Amlogic with the image processing technology of the 7th generation. The TV supports many different audio and video codecs, playback of 4K 60 fps and can automatically upscaling content. Under the new partnership arrangements, the user can access video from Amazon Prime Videos, JioCinema, Eros Now, HOOQ and Epic On. New content will be first available only to owners of new Mi TV, but eventually spread to older models.
As for the size of TVs, buyers have three choices: a 55-inch LED TV Mi 4 Pro with 4K HDR “frameless” display, 49-inch Mi TV LED 4A Pro equipped Full HD HDR panel, and a 32-inch LED TV 4C Mi Pro with the HD Ready screen.
Mi LED TV 4 Pro supports DTS-HD and Dolby Audio. Mi LED TV features 20W 4A Pro DTS-HD speakers. Both models come with 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory. Of the interfaces available three HDMI, two USB, Ethernet, AV-in, S/PDIF and antenna input.
The Junior model is also equipped with a 20W DTS-HD speakers and 8 GB of internal memory, but only have 1 GB of RAM. Of the available ports three HDMI, two USB, Ethernet, AV input, antenna and 3.5 mm jack.
The cost of a 55″ LED TV 4 Mi Pro is about $689, Mi LED TV 4A Pro – $414, Mi LED TV 4C Pro – $207.

Air purifier Mi Air Purifier 2 was presented a few years ago, so expect the new version have several improvements. Mi Air Purifier 2S are now equipped with OLED-display, which displays an indicator of the level of PM2.5 in the room. The screen brightness can be adjusted manually or choose the adaptive mode. The device is also equipped with 8 infrared sensors which activate night vision at a distance of 9 meters.
The user can connect to the camera using the Mi Home app to remotely monitor what is happening and record a few moments. Mi Home Security Camera 360 Degree valued at $37.
Mi Luggage bags available in two sizes: 20″ and 24″. They are made of polycarbonate, scratch-resistant, made by the German company Bayer Markrolon. Mi Luggage equipped with locks, which was approved by the transportation security Administration of the United States, as well as shock-absorbing and durable wheels and 4-step adjustable handle.
20″ model Mi Luggage is available in blue, gray and red color versions. It is estimated in $41. 24″ version will be sold in blue and grey colors. Cost – $59.
