Google continues to work to improve their services. In the mobile YouTube app for iOS users can test the new Explore tab.
The Explore tab allows users to easily discover new channels and videos while viewing on mobile devices. It will appear in the near future in 1% users of iOS, so developers will be able to evaluate its effectiveness.
Explore will recommend videos based on your hits, but with “broader in scope” than the service doing it now. “Explore is designed to open you to different topics, videos or channels with which you are faced,” says Tom Leung (Tom Leung), Director of product management and host of channel Insider for developers.
Explore YouTube will be similar to the tabs in Instagram and Twitter, which allow users to view the content of the people, which they may not be signed.
